How to Play the "Secret Page Hunt"You may have stumbled upon a small graphic that includes a letter and a number, along with a clue. If you happen to notice a graphic at the bottom of a page that looks like this...
...then you've found a clue! The clue will tell you part of a URL to find the secret page on. Here's your first hint: the URL is http://www.trsrockin.com/__________.html During the "hunt", you'll find the letters and numbers to fill in the blanks, along with what position the letter goes in. In the example above, letter #0 would be "x". Of course, there isn't a space zero as this is a sample, so the actual letter in the sample won't be used. You will start collecting letters from #1 onward. If the number had been 1, then you'd know that the letter x would belong in the first slot of the URL where the secret page is found. Do you see how this works? There will be 10 characters (letters and numbers) to find, so you'll be looking for clues #1 - #10. Hint: There are two numbers in the URL this time, and not all of the letters are in uppercase. You'll probably want to keep a .txt file with the letters you find, or save the graphics containing the clues to your computer. The word you'll be typing in for the URL is going to be... unusual. Be sure to keep the case of the letters the same as you find them! The hint "Angel Warrior " refers to the page where the next clue can be found. The hint in the graphic above is where you'll start your search for clue #1. You won't be going anywhere off-site for the hunt. Happy hunting! |
